From now through the month of May, contractors hired by the Cape May County Bridge Commission will make improvements to the Townsend Inlet Bridge (connecting Sea Isle City and Avalon).  The work will require temporary single-lane closures at various times, which may result in minor delays as vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be restricted to one-side of the bridge.  Please be on the lookout for flag-crews and directional signs when approaching the bridge. The T. I. Bridge is expected to be fully open to traffic (both north and south-bound lanes open) during the long Memorial Day Weekend.
