Year Round Hours:  7:15AM - 2:45PM
Closed Holidays; (except New Year's Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day)

MANDATORY RECYCLING LAWS/SINGLE STREAM "SS" RECYCLING
IT'S HERE, IT'S EASY AND IT'S A BETTER WAY TO RECYCLE
ONE FOR ALL AND ALL IN ONE CONTAINER!
What:  Plastic, steel (tin), aluminum, glass containers, cardboard, magazines, newspapers and other paper; All placed loosely in ONE recycling container
Paper:  Newspapers with inserts, office paper, junk mail, shredded paper (in a clear plastic bag), brown paper bags, magazines, telephone and paperback books, cardboard, beer and soda carriers, gift and shoe boxes, tissue and powdered-detergent boxes, non-foil wrapping paper
Plastic:  #1 through #7 plastic bottles and containers; food, beverage, health and beauty containers, cleaning products, buckets and landscape pots (5 gallons in size or less) and other rigid plastic containers
Metal:  Aluminum or steel (tin) food, beverage and aerosol cans (5gallons in size or less)
Glass:  Food and beverage glass containers including clear, green or brown bottles, jars and jugs

DO NOT RECYCLE
Food contaminated boxes, styrofoam packaging, polystyrene egg cartons, wax-coated cardboard boxes, window glass, beverage cups, paint cans, PVC pipes, light bulbs, plastic bags or any items that contain chemical or hazardous products

HOW TO PLACE YOUR TRASH
Please place all items in a rigid, reusable container with a detached lid not to exceed 50 lbs or a 35 gallon sized can curbside prior to 6:00AM of your pick up day. Plastic bags are not to be placed curbside.
Light metals and rigid plastic are picked up curbside year-round.
Household trash is not to be placed in public trash containers.
No refrigerators/chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are to be placed curbside during the summer schedule.

ITEMS THAT ARE ACCEPTED AT THE RECYCLE DROP-OFF AREA (RDOA)
Beach chairs, metal scraps, hard rigid plastic (chairs, toys, etc.), printers, stereos, television sets, computers, shredders, clean wood pallets and crates, grass clippings, tree branches and stumps and Christmas trees

MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE CMCMUA LANDFILL
Antifreeze, motor oil, used oil filters, kerosene, contaminated soil and propane tanks ($7 per tank)
